David Leibowitz has been admitted to practice in Illinois since 1974. Along with Jim McNeilly, he founded Lakelaw Wisconsin in 2006. He became admitted to the bar Wisconsin that year. He has focused on financial matters his entire practice, with particular emphasis in bankruptcy, civil litigation, and business transactions.
He has practiced in courts all over Illinois and in federal courts around the country. He has argued and won cases in the Illinois Supreme Court and in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals including many precedent setting cases. David now has handled bankruptcy and mortgage related matters in the Wisconsin counties of Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Milwaukee as well as in the 7 Rivers Region around La Crosse.
