Attorney Overview
Bo Kalabus received his juris doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas in 2000. Prior to law school, Bo completed his undergraduate work at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and earned a degree in Aviation Business Administration in 1997. Bo completed his undergraduate preparation at New Mexico Military Institute where he graduated high school in 1992 and earned his Associate’s degree in 1994.
Bo began his legal career as a civil litigator and specialized in defending personal injury cases. Along the way, he successfully represented several Fortune 500 companies in several different litigation areas including product liability, premises liability, and toxic tort cases. Bo also served as national counsel for several clients where he planned litigation strategies and supervised all aspects of trial preparation for numerous cases throughout the county.
After several years in civil practice, Bo turned his focus to starting his own law firm and developing a criminal defense practice to complement his experience on the civil docket. On September 4, 2010 the Kalabus Law Firm was proud to announce its affiliation with Rosenthal & Wadas L.L.P., a firm strongly rooted in the practice of criminal defense. Since that time Bo has defended a full spectrum of criminal cases including appellate work. Some accomplishments include argument before the 5th Court of Appeals and the Dallas County Grand Jury. Bo has also experienced success for clients in defending cases both at the misdemeanor and felony levels.
Bo is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas and the following United States Federal District Courts:

• Southern District of Texas
• Eastern District of Texas
• Western District of Texas
Outside of work, Bo is an avid pilot that flies approximately 200 hours a year. When fall rolls around you will probably find him on the weekends hunting upland birds or ducks with his favorite Labrador, Griffon.
