Education:
Gary has an undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans; a paralegal certificate from Nova Southeastern University; and a Law Degree also from Nova Southeastern University.
Internships:
Before and during law school, Gary interned with two different Broward County judges – one in county court and one in circuit court.
Experience:
Throughout law school, Gary worked for one of Broward County’s most prestigious criminal defense law firms. Rather than attend classes his last semester of law school, Gary interned with the Broward County prosecutor’s office. After graduating from law school in 2000, Gary worked for three years as a prosecutor handling cases from misdemeanors through first degree felonies. Since becoming an attorney, Gary has handled both jury trials and bench trials; litigated hundreds of hearings on motions related to criminal procedure, including motions to quash arrest, motions to suppress evidence, evidentiary hearings, bond hearings, and violation of probation hearings.
