Attorney Overview

Atty. Jon Peter Ferrer obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 2005., where he graduated with Second Honors Silver Medal. In addition, the latter’s law school thesis entitled “A Critique of People v. Mateo” was published in the prestigious Ateneo Law Journal on the same year.

In 2006, Atty. JP Ferrer passed the BAR Exams, placing in the top 10%.

Atty. JP Ferrer obtained his undergraduate degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2001, where he graduated Cum Laude.

After becoming a lawyer in 2006, Atty. JP Ferrer immediately practiced law in the firm as an associate.

Atty. JP Ferrer primarily handles civil, criminal and administrative litigation, labor, corporate and special proceedings cases for FERRERLAW. Moreover, he reviews contracts for corporate and individual clients. He is also well experienced in conducting legal due diligence for corporate clients.

He became a junior partner in 2009. Consequently, he is in charge of the administrative affairs of the law firm.

From November 2005 and up to the present, Atty. Ferrer is the in-house legal counsel for Right Angle Properties, Inc. He advises the Board of Directors on legal matters and issues. He is consulted upon by the Board of Directors and corporate officers on legal implications of the corporation’s real estate transactions. Likewise, the latter handles civil, criminal, and taxation cases of the corporation.
