Mr. Moorman is a 2002 graduate of Carroll High School, where he was captain of the varsity basketball team and voted on to the homecoming and prom courts by his classmates. In 2007, he earned a BS from the University of Dayton, where he was awarded the President’s Scholarship and was named to the Dean’s Honors List. Gabe was also an executive board member for the Student Alumni Council and was a supervisor at Founder’s Hall.
After graduating from UD, Gabe accepted a merit scholarship to the University of Cincinnati, College of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s Honors List. While at UC Law, Gabe was President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and was a Fellow for the Public Interest Law Group. He was an active member of the Student Bar Association, Federalist Society, and Saint Thomas More Society. Gabe also volunteered his time with the Tenant Information Project, assisting low income tenants guard against landlord abuse.
During law school, Gabe had a vast array of legal experience. He served as a legal intern at the City of Cincinnati Prosecutor’s Office, a judicial extern for the Honorable Timothy S. Hogan at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and was a law clerk at the insurance defense firm of Smith, Rolfes & Skavdahl. Gabe joined Thomas J. Diehl & Company in January of 2009 as a law clerk and has been with the firm ever since.
Gabe lives in Lebanon with his wife, Molly. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and writing music.
