Patrícia Rosário is a qualified lawyer practicing law until quite recently in London at one of the most successful North America’s Energy and Dispute Resolution law firm in London.
Previously, Patrícia worked at another American law firm, in the International Arbitration Department, in the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce, and as a corporate in-house Lawyer in Paris.
Patrícia has professional expertise in international contract management and international arbitration. Her experience also includes structuring investments in Africa (namely Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Sao Tome e Principe) and Europe.
Patrícia has acted for international developers, employers and contractors in some of the largest and most complex building and engineering projects undertaken in Europe and Africa and was involved in legislative drafting and public affairs advice.
Patrícia’s practice centers on alternative dispute resolution. She advises parties with respect to arbitration proceedings in different countries and under all the major arbitration systems including: International Chamber of Commerce, International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes, London Court of International Arbitration and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules in English, Spanish and Portuguese languages. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
For the past years Patrícia acted as counsel in several State court disputes, including having the lead conduct of individual disputes valued in hundreds of millions of euros. She also has been advising parties in international arbitration proceedings.
Patrícia was educated in Lisbon and London where she obtained her Law Degree and LLM in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from the University of London, Queen Mary.
