Teresa J. James
Martin, Pringle, Oliver, Wallace & Bauer, LLPTeresa James grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas, and she practiced law in Wichita for over twenty years before transferring to Martin Pringle’s Overland Park office. Having practiced in both cities, Teresa has a uniquely broad perspective of the legal landscape in Kansas and in western Missouri, and she is admitted to practice in both states. Her move to the Kansas City area also brings Teresa closer to the University of Kansas, her alma mater for both her undergraduate and law degrees. An avid Jayhawk fan, Teresa can be found in the stands for most of KU’s home football and men’s and women’s basketball games. Teresa brings the same enthusiasm and dedication to serve her clients’ legal needs. She has twice been nominated by a Fortune 1000 client to the BTI Client All-Star Team for outstanding legal service.
George C. Bruce
Martin, Pringle, Oliver, Wallace & Bauer, LLPGeorge Bruce has practiced with Martin Pringle since 1989 and served the firm as Managing Partner in 1996 and 1997. He became Of Counsel to the firm in 1998. In addition to the practice of law, George serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO of Aladdin Petroleum Company, Chairman of the Board of Aladdin Middle East, Ltd, as CEO of Porta Via Water Company, LLC, and as CEO of Sterling Water Systems, LLC. George also serves on the Board of Directors of CrossFirst Holdings, LLC, a bank holding company.
Jeff Kennedy
Martin, Pringle, Oliver, Wallace & Bauer, LLPJeff Kennedy’s practice focuses on energy law, environmental law, and real estate. Jeff began his legal career as Assistant General Counsel for the Kansas Corporation Commission. There, he handled regulatory matters involving oil and gas and environmental issues. Since joining Martin Pringle in 1986, Jeff has expanded his practice to include a wide variety of energy and natural resource matters, including the development of wind energy and other renewable energy resources, zoning and land-use issues for real property, and commercial litigation focusing on real property.
