Blitman & King was founded in the 1930s by Nathan H. Blitman, when the National Labor Relations Act was enacted. Nathan quickly became recognized as a pioneer in the field of labor relations, and eventually developed a practice representing labor organizations and multiemployer employee benefit plans.

In 1966, Bernard T. King partnered with Nathan and together they built the firm’s national reputation by focusing its strength in labor, employee benefits and employment law.
