Frank Turner areas of expertise are; Asia, Corporate Finance and Securities, Energy (Oil and Gas), Mergers and Acquisitions and Mining. Frank is National Co-Chair of Osler’s Corporate Group and he currently practices from the firm’s Calgary office. Frank’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. He routinely advises companies and other enterprises in the resource, financial services and technology sectors on matters involving acquisitions, dispositions, strategic alliances, governance and corporate finance. Frank has particular expertise advising clients in Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and other parts of the world, including sovereign wealth funds and state-owned enterprises, on acquisitions and investments in Canada. He is one of two of the firm’s partners responsible for building its corporate business in the Middle East and North Africa. Frank has previously worked in the firm’s New York and Toronto offices and has also served on secondment with investment banks in both of those cities. Frank is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. In 2008-2009, Frank served as Co-Chair of Osler’s Strategic Planning Committee formed for purposes of developing the firm’s business strategy.
