Attorney Richard Blevins is currently Partner of Rickman & Blevins, PC and has been practicing law since 1999. Richard is a veteran of the United States army where he was stationed overseas as a Military Police Corps soldier. Prior to law school, Mr. Blevins graduated third in his class at the DeKalb County Police Academy where he proudly achieved an intermediate certification from Georgia’s Peace Officer Standards & Training Council. Richard Blevins also served the Milledgeville Police Department and the DeKalb County Police Department, as well serving the Baldwin County Police Department as Detective.

Mr. Blevins has vast experience in handling criminal defense, DUI defense and personal injury cases. His training is well-rounded and extensive, including over 1,000 hours of police officer training, Standard Field Sobriety Testing trained and certified by the State of Georgia, Intoximeter 5000 certified, RADAR certified, DARE officer certified, completion of the Trial Advocacy course at the N.D.A.A’s National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
