Tom received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University. Prior to law school, he worked for several insurance companies as an adjuster, investigator, claim examiner, claim analyst and consultant. Tor more than 30 years, Tom has been involved in the investigation, analysis and adjustment of complex property losses and claims in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. These matters involved mobile and fixed properties including residential and commercial properties, restaurants, resorts and warehouse properties. He has been involved in claim dispositions totaling more than $300 million in insured property and time element losses.
